Consol Terms & Conditions

These legal terms are between you and Consol Tanning Limited (Consol/we/us) and you agree to them by using the Consol app, website, or if you buy any of our products or services (we’ll refer to any or all of these items as services from now on).
English law applies to any legal questions about these terms and our dealings with each other, and any disagreement will be settled in the English courts.

Using a sunbed with Consol 🔆
Before using our services, you must take session advice from our staff, website or app and not exceed the tanning time that our tool recommends.
You must use UV protective goggles for every session.
If you are on medication, you are pregnant, photosensitive or skin type 1 (being fair skinned), you must consult with your GP before using our services and follow their advice about whether and how to use them.
You must not use our tanning services if you have already been sunbathing or had another sunbed that day (or plan to).
You must not take anyone else into the tanning cabin with you when you are using our services.
All of our services are subject to availability.
Buying Consol Account Credit (credit) 💸
Our services can be purchased by payment card or with credits.
You can buy credits in advance at any time via our app. Any credits you purchase will be stored on your account. Credits cannot be used for purchasing further credits or gift cards and credits cannot be paid or transferred back to you as pounds sterling.
Prices for our services vary depending on the particular service and store location. Please visit our app for up-to-date pricing information.
If you do not use any credits or purchase any new credits in your account for 24 months or more, any existing credits on your account will expire and no longer be available.
If you do not use any credits, or purchase any new credits in your account for 5 years or more, your account will be closed and any existing credits on that account will be deleted and neither the account or the credits will be available to you following this. If you wish to use our services again you must apply to open a new account.
It is your responsibility to check and use any existing credits before they expire.
Using your account ⛔️
Your account with Consol is personal to you and cannot be shared with anyone else. If an account is used by anyone else other than you, we may suspend or close it. 😱 To make sure that it is only you using the account, we may use CCTV, in store photos and your profile images to verify you.
We may also suspend or close your account if you do not follow the rules set out in these terms, you are abusive to our staff or any other customer, or if you engage in other anti-social behaviour that we reasonably believe may harm our business, our staff or our other customers.
Any credits on your account will be lost if the account is closed.
If something goes wrong 🔧
We identify you on our systems with your phone number and so we may ask you to confirm that to us if you contact us to resolve any issue.
We strive to resolve any issues immediately and while you are still in our studio. If we (or you) are not able to do that, we think a quick phone call is the next best option, but feel free to contact us via any of the methods outlined in the How to contact us section 👆
Our responsibility to you 💪
These terms do not limit our responsibility and liability to you for fraud (including any fraudulent promise we make to you), death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that it would be illegal or unlawful for us to try and limit.
You should keep your property and belongings with you at all times while you are on our premises as we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to those items.
You understand that the use of tanning services (particularly overuse) may result in skin ageing and potentially increase the risks associated with certain types of skin cancer. You agree that you are in control of your use of our services and as such, we are not responsible and shall have no liability for any loss that you may experience resulting from the frequency or duration of your use of our services.
We are not responsible to you for anything that we can’t control (such as failure of power or telecommunications).
Making changes to this agreement 📝
This agreement will always be available on our website and app. We may make changes to it from time to time in order to comply with the law, to better suit our business or for any other reason. If we make changes to it that are clearly in your favour, we will tell you once we have made them. Otherwise we will give you at least two months’ notice before the changes take effect.
If you don't like these changes, you can let us know and we will close your account (take a look at the next section for more about that). Any credits on your account at the time of closing cannot be refunded and will be lost.
Closing your account 😭
These terms will continue to apply to our relationship for as long as you hold an account with us. To close and delete your account, please get in touch with us via email, email@example.com
If your account is closed by you or by us (as outlined in the other sections of these terms 👆 all your data will be deleted and any credits will be removed. The deletion process cannot be reversed and credits cannot be reinstated.
